Poem 02 – Angel Of The Universe
This is one I wrote for my mother when she sadly passed away 2 years ago with cancer.
I also made a website in her memory which you can see here if you wish
My deeper side tends to come out on this poem and some people may not really understand it but see what you think.
Angel of the universe
Angel of the universe
As Your final sunset fades into the starriest of nights
Let the Journey of your transcendence be one of lucidity and tranquility
May the tree of Avidya release its embrace on the foundation of your unity
May the divine light of the Purusa shine foremost in your entity
May you peacefully repose in a contentment of eternal ecstasy
Advance gracefully upon your infinite quest for enlightenment
Wallow profusely in the excellence of your celestial gardens of sincerity and grace
No longer are you entrapped within the boundaries of your material manifestations
No longer do you crave hydration
Nevermore need you pursue fulfillment
For now you exist in a oneness with everything
Angel of the universe
Now you may Be

Poem 01 – Thought For Life
This is one I wrote as a sort of advice to myself a few years ago and it still hangs on my studio wall for when I need a little inspiration
Thought For Life
Eat from the crop but don’t feed on it
Leave the rest in the field, don’t try to carry it
If a door isn’t open don’t look inside
Travel the ocean but go with the tide
Trust in your instincts and follow their path
Learn from your sadness but enjoy your laugh
Strive for perfection but admit to your flaws
Thrive on affection but beware of it’s claws
Let your soul be the driver when you take to the road
Let the strength from within help in bearing the load
Balance your feelings, the wrong and the right
As light is the daytime and dark is the night
Express your emotions, don’t keep them subdued
Think of disposal not only the food
Listen to others but decide for yourself
Don’t put in your pocket what belongs on the shelf
Believe in your person, you may find it’s true
That the hero you worship is actually ‘you’
