Interesting, (well, what I could read of it). I am color blind (deuteranopia to be precise). I mainly use Chrome browser (no idea if that is important), and quite a lot of this web page is a little difficult for me to read. I know that it is not your problem really, however it would be cool if you would consider us color challenged types whilst undertaking the next site redesign.

I average 350+ emails per day. It's not humanly possible to read them all--even if I had nothing else to do with my time...lol!
My email used to have a 500mb capacity, so every couple of months, I would have to spend an entire day, scanning through page after page ('cuz every page had a few I wanted to keep), and mass deleting stuff. What a pain that was!
Recently my isp changed the format, so capacity is unlimited. I'm now the proud owner of more than 30,000 UNREAD messages. Do I care? Not really!!!
I seldom unsubscribe from any list....like Don mentioned above, you never know when someone will send something...some info, idea, gift, or great offer on something, that is just what you're needing at the time.
I scan through the subject lines, if something catches my attention, I look at it, if not, I probably won't open it. I would venture to say, there are a few marketers I usually DO open, some I've probably never opened.....and most marketers get read once in awhile!

I do have my hands tied up right now, to keep myself from signing up for all those giveaways....LOL!

Ha ha sorry just had to giggle. I'm one of those guys who is on so many lists it makes my head swim. I operate a bit different I suppose.

Occasionally I buy a package because it is useful I think to me. If I'm on your list you provided something a product or info I found to be of value or use. If you offer me something and I find a use or need for it there is a good chance I will make a purchase.

I don't unsubscribe because the last 10 or any number were not of interest at the time. Who knows when the exact thing I want/need will just magically arrive in the old inbox. I have found actually most good marketers offer valueable information far more often than sales pitches. You are correct there is more than one side to every story. Nice post.
